National Produce Prescription Program
With nearly two decades of leadership in the Food as Medicine movement, Wholesome Wave unites a coalition of over 100 Produce Prescription organizations that collectively deliver affordable produce to more than 2 million people each year.
Together, we’re working to strengthen the field and help embed Produce Prescriptions into healthcare practice nationwide.
Food4Moms
Good nutrition can help create a healthier beginning for both moms and babies.
Co-designed with the communities we serve, Food4Moms provides pregnant moms with prescriptions for fruits and vegetables. Participants have experienced 20% fewer pre-term births than average, and through research with Yale and Tufts, we’re using these results to improve outcomes for moms and newborns and help shape maternal nutrition programs nationwide.
OneKitchen
Chefs know the power of food, and they have the power to create change beyond their kitchens.
Through OneKitchen, more than 200 chefs across five states are turning their voices and influence into local action. This year in Colorado, that advocacy helped secure continued funding for schools to purchase locally grown food for students—putting better food on more school lunch trays.
