Our New Video Shows Shoppers How to Access Produce at Half the Price
When it comes to helping low-income Americans afford fruits and vegetables, it’s not just about raising money and running impactful programs. You’ve got to get the word out to families in need, but our on-the-ground partners don’t always have the bandwidth for major marketing. Last Spring we launched our You SNAP, We Match campaign, which members across the country can customize in every format from flyers to direct mail to Facebook ads.
But now we’ve added another way to tell low-income families about this opportunities: video. We utilized the catchy campaign tagline to customize an animated short in partnership with the state of Ohio, introducing the local SNAP-matching program – Produce Perks. The video has already hit small screens through email and social media, and will soon air in doctors’ offices too. Best part? In the coming months, we’ll customize the video for other statewide programs and get the message out to even more families whom we can help put healthy food on the table. Now that’s advertising with impact.
